Max his W first for great sustain and harass in lane, or Q to stop a push composition. Master toggling between clone and hero. A basic combo is R with clone, then double drain, then R again. Note his clone procs all item effects, including gold per 10 second items. Run 0/3/3 talents, focusing on Spell resist, Armor, Movespeed, Energy Regen, and Wealth (for a instant Miners Goggles).

Introduction

Lore: Tassadar walks the stars in his etheral form, seeking a way to return to the physical world. Having fused himself with the Overmind's cortex, his etheral presence is limited to the presence of young Overminds. Now that the Sanctum has come under attack, Tassadar's presence is strengthened by the collective focus of native preservers.

Possessing access to both Khala and The Void, Tassadar is an adept of illusion and stealth. He commands spirits from the Khala, who fuse together to focus their energies.

Skills

Astral Projection
Astral projection

Active: Tassadar cuts his Weapon Damage by 30% to create an Astral Projection. Projections die after taking 250+50*LVL (+100% INT) damage, deals 70% of Tassadar's Weapon Damage, and can cast abilities based on Tassadar's ability levels.

Energy Rake
COST: 15 mana
COOLDOWN: 6
Energy rake

Passive: Tassadar's next attack rakes the area around the target instead, dealing Spell Damage. This cooldown is reduced by 0.5 seconds each time Tassadar or his Projection attacks. This ability autocasts on attack and minimizes the weapon speed timer.

  • Spell Damage: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 (50% INT)
Soul Drain
RANGE: 7
COST: 55 / 70 / 90 / 100 mana
COOLDOWN: 18
Soul drain

Active: Tassadar deals Spell Damage per second to target unit for up to 6 seconds, restoring Health to himself each equal to 100% of the damage dealt. The affected unit loses Movement Speed.

  • Spell Damage: 70 / 130 / 190 / 250 (+30% INT)
  • Movement Speed: 30% / 36% / 42% / 48%
Hyper Armor
COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 mana
COOLDOWN: 30 / 26 / 22 / 18
Hyper armor

Active: Tassadar gains Shields, Movement Speed, and Weapon Speed. Lasts 15 seconds, or until Shields are depleted.

  • Shields: +80 / +150 / +220 / +290 (+80% INT)
  • Movement Speed: +8% / +12% / +16% / +20%
  • Weapon Speed: +15% / +20% / +25% / +30%
Aether Swap
COST: 100 / 150 / 200 mana
COOLDOWN: 40
Aether swap

Active: Tassadar swaps positions with target unit after a 1.2 second cast time. This ability can be used on his Astral Projection (and vice versa) at no cost or cooldown, and also swaps Health.

  • Range: 8 / 10 / 12
